Universal Ultrasound consists of leading ARDMS/CCI registered ultrasound sonographers and a medical advisory board that specializes in adult echocardiography, non-invasive vascular testing, and the management of venous and lymphatic diseases.
Our team has amassed years of experience learning Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) standards and handling IAC procedures which can simplify the accreditation process. We are confident that we can efficiently acquire accreditation for your practice regarding the modalities of:

We assess every aspect of your lab’s daily operation and we work closely with your medical and technical teams via a comprehensive accreditation process which includes the following steps:

Initially, a point of contact will be established with your facility. Medical and technical staff CMEs, licenses and certifications, equipment and facility information will be collected for accreditation.

Universal Ultrasound will coordinate with the medical and technical directors of the practice to create and review entirely new policies and protocols for accreditation. This will ensure that all documentation is complaint with IAC Standards.

Multiple case studies (depending on practice volume) will be thoroughly reviewed and a report detailing all deficiencies will be provided to the facility. This will ensure that cases performed at the practice are compliant with all policies, protocols, diagnostic criteria, and IAC standards.

Finally, the IAC accreditation application for the practice will be completed and formally submitted via an online IAC account. Universal Ultrasound will coordinate with the medical and technical staff to ensure that information acquired for the IAC accreditation application is accurate.
